Explore Our ProgrammesOur Vision
To train and equip ministers to serve in holiness and righteousness within their local communities and across the world.
Our Journey
A commitment to ministry since 1980
PIBS began in 1980 through the vision of Rev. Dr. O. Ezekiel, founder of Christian Pentecostal Mission International. The need for trained ministers and the message of Matthew 9:37 helped shape the seminary's founding purpose.
The Beginning
A six-month Certificate in Christian Ministry programme began with 12 students. Eleven completed the programme.
Diploma Graduates
PIBS graduated its first diploma students.
Bachelor's Graduates
The seminary graduated its first bachelor's degree students.
Continuing the Vision
PIBS expanded its provision through master's and doctoral study.
Successive leaders include Rev. Okosun, Rev. Dan Silesi, Rev. O. C. Ernest and Prof. Donatus Emmanuel. The seminary continues to prepare Christians through theological learning, disciplined Christian living and responsible service.
